What will Marquette do to ensure the health and safety of all patrons at games?
Marquette Athletics places the highest priority on the health and safety of all patrons attending games including fans, student-athletes, coaches, event staff, students, spirit squads, pep band members, etc. With the impact of COVID-19 still evolving, we simply can’t identify today what changes may need to be made. We will modify or implement measures recommended or required by government and public health officials in order to ensure the safety and comfort of all event participants and attendees.
Will Marquette reduce capacities?
Marquette Athletics will adhere to guidelines and recommendations released in the future regarding social distancing or public gatherings. This specific issue has not yet been addressed by government and public health officials, but we will adhere to recommendations as related to sports and entertainment events and venues.
Will there be a season or will fans be permitted at games this year?
We are hopeful that the basketball season will take place, with Marquette fans in attendance to create a great home atmosphere at Fiserv Forum. We will monitor conditions as they evolve, in conjunction with recommendations from government and public health officials, to make determinations related to the upcoming season.
What is Marquette Select?
Marquette Select is the new seat selection process Marquette men’s basketball season ticket members will participate in to select their season ticket location. For more information on Marquette Select and it’s process click here
Marquette Select is an improved seat selection process providing priority access for Marquette men’s basketball season ticket members.
Marquette Select provides you the ability to move and improve existing seats, add additional season tickets and purchase new season tickets.
Marquette Select is an annual process. Season tickets are subject to availability during personalized selection time.
When will Marquette Select occur?
We are planning to hold Marquette Select September 14-18. The plan is to have Marquette Select take place ONLY online or over the phone.
When will I receive my Marquette Select appointment time and how does it work?
In late August, the Marquette Ticket Office will assign each season ticket member a Marquette Select appointment time based on their priority point level as of June 30, 2020.
If season ticket members first preference is to maintain their 2019-20 seat location, Marquette Athletics will assign that seat to the season ticket member account during the designated appointment time.
Season ticket members will not need to login to Marquette Select if this is their first preference.
Marquette Intercollegiate Athletics has the right to change any seating assignment without prior notice, thus there are no guarantees.
If season ticket members first preference is to improve or relocate their 2020-21 season tickets, they must login to Marquette Select or call the Marquette Ticket Office during their designated appointment time.
If choosing to relocate, season ticket options will be subject to availability.
How can I improve my seat location?
The best way to improve your seat location at Marquette Men’s Basketball games is to improve your ranking in the Blue and Gold Fund Priority Points program through donations and season ticket purchases.
What if I don’t like my seat location or pricing for the 2020-2021 season?
Everyone will receive the opportunity to participate in the Marquette Select process even if you choose to keep the same seats this season. In September, you’ll have the opportunity to go into Marquette Select and look at the options available in the arena.
Is there a limit to how many tickets I can purchase for the 2020-2021 season?
Each season ticket member is eligible to purchase up to four (4) seats at their priority level. If a season ticket member registers for more than four (4) seats, the account’s priority points will be reduced to the following: 5 seats – 80% of your point total; 6 seats – 70% of your point total; 7 seats – 60% of your point total; 8 seats – 50 % of your point total; 9 seats – 40% of your point total; 10+ seats – etc.
Will there be a seat-selection website for Marquette Select?
Marquette Athletics plans to utilize a similar website to what has been used in the past with the annual seating process.
How will I be able to make my seat selections in September?
You’ll be able to do it online through you’re My Marquette Account and Marquette Select or over the phone with a Marquette Athletics representative. Those currently will only be the two options when it’s your time to select/upgrade seats in September. More details will be posted later.
If I don’t want to change my seats, do I need to login?
No. Marquette Select is completely optional for the 2020-2021 season. Patrons can login at any time after their assigned date/time and simply choose to explore the options if they like. Should the patron wish to go further and actually relocate their seats. Patrons not participating will retain their current seat location(s) from the 2020-2021 season.

If I choose not to participate in Marquette Select this year, will it affect future years?
No. For the 2021-2022 season, however, we will be reseating the entire arena so everyone will need to participate.
How is my Marquette Select time determined?
Your Marquette Select time is determined by your Blue & Gold Fund priority point level as of June 30, 2020.
Are there instances where I wouldn’t be able to pick an open seat?
In order to properly manage seat inventory, the system will not allow you to leave a single seat in a row. For example, you cannot select 2 seats in a location where there are only 3 available seats, as that would leave a single seat.
What is the live look around?
The live look around is an opportunity to see what seats are available through our 3D virtual venue of Fiserv Forum, prior to your designated appointment time. During your appointment time, you’ll also be able to use the 3D mapping system.
Can I select and change my seats multiple times during the Marquette Select process?
Once you have completed the checkout process, you cannot log back into Marquette Select. You will only be able to change your seats and purchase new seats once and only on or after your assigned date & time. If you do not checkout, you can log back in and make a selection at a later date and time.
Will ticket prices increase or change this year?
As stated previously, season ticket prices will remain the same for the 2020-2021 season.
Will the recommended scholarship contribution increase or change this year?
Do we have the schedules for the 2020-21 seasons?
The 2020-21 men’s basketball schedule is not finalized. The non-conference schedule has been released already. BIG EAST Conference schedules are anticipated to be released in September. Men’s basketball will have 18 home games.
Will I receive a season ticket booklet for the 2020-2021 season?
You can access your tickets digitally through our Marquette Gameday app, which is the preferred method for game day.
We will have options available during the season to get printed tickets if necessary.
Will there be payment plans offered for season tickets?
Yes, two different payment plans will be offered including a 3-month and 4-month option. Marquette Faculty and Staff may utilize a 4-month payroll deduction for the payment of season tickets. We also can customize a payment plan if necessary. Please call the ticket office at 414.288.4668.
Are there finance charges or interest charges on payment plans?
No. The only fees are the associated convenience and facility fees.
Will my seat location/priority points be affected if I opt in to a payment plan?
Will you issue ticket refunds if the season is canceled?
We will issue refunds accordingly, pending any and all changes to the season, schedule or guidelines that may be implemented that affects the ability to attend games. See below for our refund policy.
Will you issue seat donation refunds if the season is canceled?
If the season is canceled, will there by an option to apply the amount of my refund to a Blue & Gold Fund donation or to the cost of tickets for next year?
Will there be a cancellation policy, in the event that I simply change my mind due to health and safety concerns?

What is your cancellation or refund policy for the 2020-2021 season?

If games are canceled or postponed, due to circumstances beyond our control that prevents your ticket from being used, you will have the following choices for game(s) impacted:
Donate the full or partial value to the Blue & Gold Fund in support of Marquette Athletics if the season is condensed or cancelled
Apply the full or partial value as a credit toward the purchase of the 2021-22 season tickets if the season is condensed or cancelled
Receive a full or partial refund to their original method of payment if the season is condensed or cancelled. The prorated value will only include the processing fees paid by the ticket holder if the entire season is cancelled.

What is the value of points?
Athletics donation: $100 = 1 point
Non-athletics donation: $250 = 1 point
When is the priority points deadline?
June 30th will be the new priority points deadline every year.
Why is Marquette NOW allowing me to request my same seats?
Per Wisconsin state legislation, we are required to reseat our arena every year. However, we are now able to allow season ticket members to request to keep their same seats every other year with the understanding that Marquette reserves the right to change any seating assignment without prior notice, thus there are no guarantees.
Is my donation deductible?
The federal tax law pertaining to gifts that impact seating at college athletics contests was changed effective January 1, 2018. As a result, donations that result in benefits related to the purchase or priority of athletic seats may no longer be deductible. For this reason, donations that result in priority points for athletic seats may not be deductible.
If you choose to forego priority points, your contribution may be fully deductible. If you elect this option, you must decline to receive points in writing.
You are required to take priority points for recommended seat donations.
What if I don’t like my seats and want to change?
All season ticket members will have the option to request to retain their seats from the 2019-20 season. If you choose to change your seats, you will be given an appointment time based on priority point ranking much like reseating in past years. The seat options available will be those that were open in 2019-20, dropped from season ticket members not renewing or seats opening from other season ticket members opting to move.
Seats that are retained from 2019-20 will not be available for selection.
Can I pass points on to family members?
You cannot pass points to children, siblings or friends.
Spouses retain points in the case of death to their partner.
If both primary season ticket members or the individual primary season ticket member passes away, there is a one season grace period where family members are allowed to retain points/tickets.
